QUIET ZONE

Keeping quiet is like peeping into the hall through the lobby door left ajar.

Nevertheless, we better be ready for silence. In silence we can have longer attention spans, we can contemplate more and inspiration might come easier. The only problem is that inspiration almost immediately turns the tranquility of silence into noisy desire. The timelessness of silence is supplanted by time pressure and impatience, motionlessness by ambition. Still, by keeping quiet we can suppress the impetus of action, enjoy the intensity of laziness, expand the moment into timelessness, and delay the mistake.

We can reside in the labyrinth. We will not expose ourselves to interpretations and to the hysteria of pragmatism.

CSENDZÓNA

Csendben lenni olyan, mint az előszobából belesni a félig nyitott ajtón.

Ennek ellenére jó, ha csendben tudunk maradni. Ha ezt tesszük, tovább tarthat a figye-lem, több esélyt kap a tűnődés, talán az inspiráció is. A baj csak az, hogy az inspiráció a csend nyugalmát – szinte azonnal – zajos vággyá alakítja. A csend időtlenségét kiszorítja az időkrízis és a türelmetlenség, a mozdulatlanságot a tettvágy. Csendben maradva elfojt-hatjuk a cselekvés indulatát, élvezhetjük a lustaság intenzitását, a pillanatot időtlenséggé tágíthatjuk, késleltethetjük a tévedést.

Tovább maradhatunk a labirintusban. Nem szolgáltatjuk ki magunkat az értelmezésnek, a pragmatizmus hisztériájának.
